18th Annual Festival of Art & Wine in Duncans Mills, June 22 & 23, 2002. In downtown Duncans Mills on Highway 116 on the Russian River. 10-6 Saturday, 10-5 Sunday.

Duncans Mills is Going Ducky!
On June 22nd and 23rd, as part of the activities at the
Festival of Art & Wine in Duncans Mills

Little yellow rubber ducks (complete with sunglasses!) will be raced in heats throughout the weekend on a waterway built especially for the event on the festival grounds. Each race offers a wonderful prize! Winners of each race will also race in the final heat and could win:

FIRST PRIZE: A Softub-brand hot tub, valued at $3,000!
SECOND PRIZE: $500 gift certificate to Marin Outdoors
THIRD PRIZE: $250 gift certificate to Marin Outdoors

Duck adoptions available for $5 each, or 6 for $25

Heats will be held each hour throughout the weekend. The final race happens Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. You need not be present to win, but you may claim a duck by bringing your adoption ticket stub to the festival.

Poetry Café is an opportunity for authors, writers, and visual artists   both local and no-so-local   to get their original work on the air. "Poetry Café" appears on cable channel 72 in Santa Rosa on Mondays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 p.m. (Also seen in Healdsburg; schedule varies. Not presently available in Petaluma.)
