In the eye of the beholder, this land speaks for itself. It is a welcoming place where the vines thrive. Consequently, in the face of human demands, the land must in the end have people willing to speak for it.

As we hurtle headlong into the twenty-first century the editor hopes these introductions will help us all to more fully enjoy the blessing of place.

Supports sustainable agricultural diversity in Sonoma County through promotion of its members' products, to ensure the preservation of our county's rich agricultural heritage
Sonoma Land Trust
Provides permanent protection of land and resources through stewardship, education, and advice for the preservation and enhancement of agricultural, natural, scenic, and open space lands
Joins with public agencies, community and school groups and individuals to increase public access to open spaces, encouraging responsible land stewardship by connecting people to the land
